Cucumber is a refreshing vegetable, one feels freshness by eating it. It is high in water content which keeps your body hydrated. Cucumber is a nutrient-dense vegetable, usually eaten raw. It is mostly eaten in all kinds of salads. Some people like to eat it during the day or even empty at night. If you eat a plate of cucumber, your stomach will be full. Some people also eat it for breakfast , dieters appreciate it a lot because it has a high water content, so it keeps you feeling fuller for longer. It contains vitamins, antioxidants, copper, manganese, magnesium and potassium which are very helpful in solving your heart problems and high blood pressure. But is it correct to eat cucumber at night, it does not leave any harmful effects on our health?
Effects of eating cucumber at night
Eating cucumber is good, but eating it at night can cause many problems, because digestion is delayed, it can cause digestive problems, gas can form, which disturbs your sleep. Apart from this, since the amount of water in it is high, frequent urination may occur. Therefore, it is better not to eat most of the vegetables included in the salad, including carrots, beets, cucumbers, cabbage, etc., because they all contain iron and can cause weight gain.
1. Stomach problems
Eating cucumber at night can cause problems with indigestion gas and stomach pain. It is digested late, so if it is eaten late at night, heartburn or heaviness may also occur.
2. Need to urinate
If you eat cucumber late at night, due to its high water content, you may need to urinate frequently. Therefore, it is better to eat cucumber at night.
3. Cold or sore throat
People who suffer from allergies or colds should avoid eating cucumber especially at night because its cooling effect can irritate the throat and aggravate colds.
